MEDICINE DISPOSAL

All out of date, partially used or unused medications, animal remedies or pharmaceuticals are collected by VEM in containers with purple lids. These materials are shipped to licensed incineration plants in Europe through EPA licensed transfer stations.

Cytotoxic and Cytostatic materials can also be collected and shipped for destruction through incineration in compliance with European legislation including all TFS regulations.

Even "empty" containers that previously contained hazardous materials are included in this category.
